Question by gchc713: My ’02 Honda Accord is makes a shimming noise when I drive slow. Could it be the brakes, or wheel bearings?
I have never driven through high water and it has 108K miles. I have checked to see if anything is rubbing against the wheel, any advice?

Sounds like it could be the bearings, shouldn’t be the brakes. If you place both hands on top of the wheel and grip it (with the car parked on a flat surface with the hand brake on) then try and rock the tyre towards and away from you, if there is excessive play then your bearings are gone. Went on my car, you know after a while because it soon gets REAL noisy.
