I purchased the parts new online to save about $ 800, and am having trouble finding a mechanic to do the job. They all want me to purchase the parts from them. I am somewhat mechanically inclined, but could use some guidance before I dive in and do it myself. Thanks.

the fronts on gm’s are normally pretty easy. i think you may need a large torx bit socket, either t-55 or t-60.
